ニャック・ポアン (Neak Poan)は12世紀末にジャヤーヴァルマン7世によって建てられたユニークな仏教寺院です。寺院は人工池の中央の小島に位置し、仏教の四大聖湖を象徴する4つの小さな池に囲まれています。中央の池には円形の島があり、小さな寺院が建っており、その基壇には2匹の絡み合った蛇神（ナーガ）が彫刻されています。これが「ニャック・ポアン」（絡み合った蛇の意味）という名前の由来です。アンコール時代、ここは治癒力を持つ聖なる池と考えられ、人々は池の水に奇跡的な治癒力があると信じていました。訪問者は長い木製の歩道を歩いて寺院に到達する必要があり、途中で池と周囲の自然の景色を楽しむことができます。雨季に水位が上がると、景色はさらに魅力的になります。
Le temple de Banteay Srei ou temple des femmes est le plus fin et raffiné temps de toute la région. Les sculptures et les linteaux sont d'une finesse incroyable. Tout est à une petite échelle mais tellement beau. Attention, des fois, il y a des cars de touristes qui arrivent en même temps pour un petit temple. Un coup de coeur.
