平日の朝に訪れましたが、意外と観光客が多く賑わっていました。\n遺跡自体は小規模ですが、赤砂岩の彫刻がとにかく精緻で美しい！細かいレリーフや神話の彫刻をじっくり見て回ると、時間を忘れてしまいます。「東洋のモナリザ」の彫刻がある塔の中には入ることができず、モナリザは見れませんでした。\n静かに鑑賞できる時間帯は朝早めがおすすめですが、迫力は十分に感じられます。\nアンコール遺跡群の中でも、彫刻好きにはぜひ訪れてほしいスポットです。

By far one of the most detailed and intricately carved temple of them all, certainly the reddish pink sandstone sets it apart from all the others, the only thing lacking, compared to the rest is its size. No trip to see the temples would be complete without a visit to this temple. I've been here three or four times and every time i see something i hadn't seen before. The carvings seem to be so realistically executed, it's incredible for the large amount of detail they fit in such a small space. For my money, it is a must see on any temple hunter's agenda. Be sure to bring binoculars\nor telephoto lens cause a lot of it is roped off to avoid damage from traffic and people rubbing the carvings.

Went here as a recommendation by a local and it was so gorgeous, one of our favorite temples we visited. Also nice to get away from the crowds at Angkor Thom on a Saturday. Booked our Tuk Tuk through grab and he offered to stay to return us home after. I’m not sure without that offer that we would’ve gotten a ride back to done-quite far and isolated north.

Несмотря на возраст, орнаменты сохранились невероятно чётко — каждый барельеф словно оживает на солнце.\nBanteay Srei — не просто храм, это напоминание, что красота может быть вечной, если она создана с любовью.
