니악 포안 (Neak Poan)은 12세기 말 자야바르만 7세에 의해 건설된 독특한 불교 사원입니다. 사원은 인공 연못 중앙의 작은 섬에 위치하며, 불교의 네 개의 성스러운 호수를 상징하는 네 개의 작은 연못으로 둘러싸여 있습니다. 중앙 연못에는 원형 섬이 있으며 작은 사원이 있고, 그 기단에는 두 마리의 얽힌 뱀 신(나가)이 조각되어 있습니다. 이것이 "니악 포안"(얽힌 뱀이라는 의미)이라는 이름의 유래입니다. 앙코르 시대에 이곳은 치유력을 가진 성스러운 연못으로 여겨졌으며, 사람들은 연못의 물이 기적적인 치유력을 가지고 있다고 믿었습니다. 방문객들은 긴 나무 산책로를 걸어 사원에 도달해야 하며, 도중에 연못과 주변 자연 경관을 즐길 수 있습니다. 우기에 수위가 올라가면 경치가 더욱 매혹적입니다.
Le temple de Banteay Srei ou temple des femmes est le plus fin et raffiné temps de toute la région. Les sculptures et les linteaux sont d'une finesse incroyable. Tout est à une petite échelle mais tellement beau. Attention, des fois, il y a des cars de touristes qui arrivent en même temps pour un petit temple. Un coup de coeur.
