Pre Rup Temple is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and is the place where ancient royalty performed cremation ceremonies to "transform into gods," hence it is also called the Transformation Tower. The temple is built very high, and climbing up allows you to overlook the distant forests with an open view, making it a great spot to watch the sunset at Angkor Wat. When the sun gradually sinks into the primeval forest, the afterglow of the sunset illuminates the red brick structure of Pre Rup Temple, casting a warm red glow that is aesthetically magnificent.

10年以上ぶりの再訪。前回は、乾季でへばって、ただ見ただけ状態で終わってしまったので、レリーフとかきちんと見るため、雨季にトライ！結果、飛行機も安く、観光客もあふれておらず、赤っちゃけた砂ぼこりがまうこともない、緑多い、苔むす遺跡がみれました。雨だって、午後スコール的なザァーで、午前中遺跡みれば、なんてことなかった✌️
멋지고 웅장합니다. 결혼사진 찍는 신혼부부도 많아요.
뭔가 이유없이 상당히 저평가된 유적지이자 관광지.\n\n한국인들은 딱히 좋아하거나 매니악하게 찾는 분위기는 아니라지만,\n서양인들에게는 한국인에게 있어 마추픽추 수준으로 매우 신비롭고 가기 어려운 관광지 정도의 인식이 있는 듯 하다.\n\n거대한 해자와 정글 속에서 만들어진 거대한 규모의 사원, 그리고 셀 수 없는 석조 조각상들과 완벽한 건축미는 어지간한 세계적인 문화유산들도 비비기 어려운 높은 수준을 자랑한다.\n\n원숭이들이 너무 공격적이니 조심해야하고,\n그늘도 별로 없고 더위와 습도의 콤보로 관광 시에 조심해야한다.\n관광지 주변에서 어린이들이 앵벌이하는 모습이 보여 안타까움을 더한다.
