Bayon Temple is located at the center of Angkor Thom and is one of the most important temples in the Angkor complex, built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century. The temple's most famous feature is its 54 towers with four faces each, carved with giant smiling Buddha images known as the "Smile of Angkor". These mysterious smiling faces are said to be modeled after the king himself. The walls of Bayon Temple are adorned with exquisite bas-reliefs depicting war scenes, daily life, and mythological stories of the time. The temple's architectural structure is complex, featuring multiple levels of platforms and galleries, representing the pinnacle of Angkor architectural art.
크메르 루즈 당시에 자행했던 킬링 필드의 역사적 수용소로 보존이 제대로 되어 있지않아서 아쉬웠다. 당시 초등학교 건물을 수용소로 개조해 고문실, 수용시설, 억울하게 희생된 사람들의 사진, 킬링 필드에서 만행했던 사진이 있다. 공산화, 독재가 얼마나 무섭고, 잔인한 것인가를 보여주는 산교육장이다. 많은 외국 관광객이 찾은 명소이다.
２０年ほど前に訪れたところ。今回は子供と訪問しました。欧米の観光客が多い印象です。\n\n2階の一つの部屋でなぜか身震いが止まらなくなりました。泣いている欧米の女性観光客も見ました。\n\n子どもと１つずつ借りたオーディオセットが１つ故障していて、途中から聞こえなくなりましたので☆マイナス１にします。
박물관이 전체적으로 넓고 한번쯤 가보는것도 좋을것 같습니다 비용도 크게 부담되지 않고 괜찮습니다 제가 갔던 날 기준 10달러를 지불하면 나라언어별로 오디오 가이드도 존재합니다 오디오가 필요 없으신 분들은 캄보디아어나 영어를 하지 못하면 크게 와닿지 못할것 같습니다 또한 박물관 내에선 촬영이 금지 되어있습니다
