Angkor Thom, also known as the Great City, was repeatedly destroyed by war and rebuilt several times. It served as the heart of the Angkor civilization, with a population reaching millions at its peak. Today, the ancient city's main attractions include the Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, and the Phimeanakas (Celestial Palace). The East Gate was featured in the film "Tomb Raider", and north of the East Gate is the "Victory Gate" that leads directly to the Royal Palace, reserved exclusively for the king and triumphant armies.
공사를 하는곳이 많습니다. 그리고 다수의 사진촬영 금지... 입구가 들어나 있지 않습니다. 처음에 저는 한바퀴를 걸었습니다. 출구쪽 큰문에서 우측으로 조금만 걸어가시면 작은 문이 있고 그안에 티켓 오피스가 있습니다. 다른 문들은 왕과 왕비만 사용할 수 있다고 합니다.
