March 2020 - $2 entry which maybe a little steep for such as small museum but it's a case of quality over quantity. Explanations in Khmer, French and English and some interesting historical pictures including the folders in the corner. Amazing how old some of the statues are. Takes about 30mins to go around ... closed at lunchtime.
i went to muzium on 19.6.2025 at 8.40am\nsecurity officer in front of the muzium told me it is closed until further notice.
don’t go. This museum is closed now, and it’s transforming into an office. The guy that was here told us that the museum may be back in 4 or 5 years, but not before. But he was kind and let us take a look to the few posters and sculptures that were still kept in a room.
It is free, but need to repair the space. Old photos bring travelers historical information.
Very nice museum, we can know the history of Kampot city and know step by step of Kampot renovation.
